Marple's Christmas Market
Marple Business Forum is committed to making Marple a better place to live and work, and with this in mind we are aiming to light up Christmas and create a Christmas Market in Marple on Saturday 10th December.
Following on from the successful theme of previous years we are promoting many of the traditional aspects of the festive season through music, entertainment and market stalls.
On Saturday 10th December there will be a full programme of music, entertainment and Christmas carols in the traditional spirit of Christmas in Marple, all created and performed by local bands, churches and traders, for the enjoyment and participation of all the residents and visitors to Marple.
The Christmas Market promises to be a fun-filled day out for the whole family and an occasion for you to browse and enjoy the very best that Marple has to offer.
The programme for the day is as follows:
| 10.00 – 15.30 | Father Christmas will be in his grotto, Market stalls showcasing goods and / or mulled wine, mince pies, roasted chestnuts, etc |
| 12.30 | Traditional Carol Service |
| 15.30 – 17.00 | Torch-lit parade organised by Churches Together |
All are welcome – please keep an eye out for further details.
There will also be free car parking in all Stockport Council owned Pay & Display car parks available on the day.
